Our lovely team of 2024 summer interns brought diverse experiences, passions, and aspirations to our team. They were dedicated to making local food more accessible and affordable, pushing boundaries, and making a positive impact! They joined our weekly team meetings so that they were fully immersed in the day to day business and were able to understand the context around their specific projects and tasks. We also got out of the office and enjoyed some team lunches and a farm visit.
Here’s a taste of the impact they have been making in the community while a part of our Retaaza team and the impact their time with Retaaza has had on them.
